Danny came to Ruben V Academy just over half a decade ago! Tired, unhealthy, sick of all the diets and work outs not bringing him any results, and he was about to turn 50!
I was his last hope to get those dream abs he had always wanted and the goal was before his 50th birthday - his words, not mine!
What a challenge and adventure this would be, however there was no turning back!
Danny completed the 12 week transformation with amazing results and went on to compete professionally, and thoroughly enjoyed his transformation experience and process.

You will join as a casual visitor of the gym only and will have access to the facilities during your personal training session.

Depending on your fitness goals, and whether you are completing the 12 week Transformation Program or just more casually, a tailored program will be created to achieve your results. We don’t follow a one size fits all model, we work with where you are currently at and get you to where you want to be.

Each session typically lasts 45 minutes!

We ask you to bring a gym towel - this is a requirement of using the gym facility and be dressed in appropriate attire to train and move in. Proper footwear is also a must and a water bottle if you prefer!

If you are part of our Transformation Program, a nutrition guide will be provided based on the goals you are trying to achieve. The plan will be created with flexibility for you to choose how you want to consume the recommended macros with a strong emphasis on lean proteins, cruciferous vegetables, some carbs and healthy fats, however, results wont be guaranteed if you decide to deviate and not follow the suggested macro nutrient advice to be eaten for your body composition and goals.

This really depends on how much time you have available to train and your fitness goals. Ideally we recommend 3-4 times training sessions per week. While this is a guide, it gives us an opportunity to target each muscle group 2-3 times which is necessary for creating change in body composition.
Online Training FAQs

Every week you will have one 20 minute call structured to allow for all your questions to be answered and provide any advice or recommendations to assist you for the following weeks training & diet to hit your projected targets and achieve your results. Our Transformation Program includes a private whatsapp group, so outside your designated call time you can post any questions there which will be answered during business hours from Monday to Friday.

It is generally recommended that anyone who chooses the online option has some basic foundation knowledge of how to train by themselves. We will provide all the exercises for you as part of your program, however, if you are in Sydney and new to gym training, it is recommended you join our face to face Transformation or opt for casual face to face training before attempting online only.

Generally speaking, if you follow the suggested plan for training and nutrition, you should achieve your goals by the determined timeframe. The only person stopping you from achieving your results is YOU. With Face to Face training, you may train harder perhaps if the intensity is higher vs you training alone. Ultimately, it is your desire and will to achieve your goals! We are simply building the road for you to drive on!

Preferably a laptop for the video call check ins, internet connection and an email address. If you are completing our 12 week Transformation Program, then you will also need Whatsapp on your mobile for the group communication and check ins. Please ensure you are somewhere quiet and uninterrupted for your weekly video check ins to make the most of the sessions.
